On July 6th 2023, a team from the German corporate research center of ABB (Nika Strem, Fabian Buelow), ABB Early Talents & University Relations (Ute Richter) and from the Technical University of Darmstadt (Maurice Kraus, Nika Stem) proudly presented the EXPLAIN project as great example of European joint research in Explainable AI (XAI) at the Hessian AICon in Darmstadt, Germany.

The EXPLAIN Project brings together more than 4 universities and 8 companies, sharing the common goal of an XIA lifecycle which highly increases trust in modern AI solutions for the process industry.

We really enjoyed the discussions with like-minded professionals from academia and industry about explainability, research in AI, and opportunities for collaboration and potential careers in this exciting field!
